World-Changers Soweto Soccer Trip - 28 June 2010

From the 7th till the 19th of June we were privileged to have 53 American students, from Lousiana, Mississippi and Florida in the country. Building on World Cup soccer fever, they ran soccer schools for childen and screened matches on a projector for people to come and watch. They also did a LOT of street evangelism, ran many of the churches on Sunday and told bible stories to all the kids who came to play soccer.

Highlights of the trip included handing out Christian literature and Jesus DVD's outside Ellis Park at the Noth Korea game and also at the USA match, as well as a day trip to Pilansberg game reserve for a taste of wild Africa.

Congratulations to every student for showing such enthusiasm, energy, dedication and wisdom during the entire trip, and also a big thank you to Florida Baptist Church for hosting such a large crowd of us for the 12 days!
